How often do you say “no” to things that would interfere with your goals?
Well the question infers that I even have goals, which I do not. Nor have I ever.
And I’m definitely not bragging about that. It’s just that I convinced myself when I was young that I am not a competitive person. Goals are for Olympic athletes. I let things happen when they happen. If something needs to be done, I do it. It’s not that I’m a puddle of indecision and insecurity. But I always felt like goals were for people with huge aspirations or people with a type A personality.
For some reason I always felt the need to make sure the world knew I was the furthest thing from a type A personality. I am the middle child, easy going…I go with the flow.

This prompt has got me thinking though. And this week I am off as it is Spring Break here. I am not going anywhere and I do have some things I want to get done around the house.
I might make a list or a schedule (spring cleaning) and I might even get crazy and set some goals. And say them out loud, to my toddler, the dog, the cat.
Now back to the question, will I say no to things that might interfere?
Absolutely not!
