This is a good prompt right? Figured I should acknowledge when they are, since I’m often pointing out when they’re not.

Except now I’m sitting here actually stumped. I think the gentleman from The Untitled Project (sorry I don’t know how to copy and paste the link), was joking when he answered “women”. But he was completely right.

We do get better with age but probably so do men. Men definitely get more physically attractive as they age. Okay stay on track here.

We hopefully learn from our mistakes. We experience situations in life, both good and bad, that add a flavour to our personality. Like a cast iron pan that’s been used over and over and does considerably better frying than it did when you first bought it.

One of the more important things with age is knowing ourselves better. That’s huge. I can’t even imagine what I might have accomplished in my life if I had know this version of me in my twenties. I’m much more authentic.

It is true that the older population are overlooked in so many ways. I’m talking over sixty-five. Their looks change, their abilities change. But imagine what is actually going on in their brilliant minds. The experiences they have had, the people they’ve known and loved, the conversations over the years.

People say forty is the new thirty, fifty the new forty etc. But maybe eighty should be the new twenty. Like give these people some credit.

If people get better with age then an old old person should be on a pedestal.
