Last night before I fell asleep I thought up this really witty way to begin this post and good thing I put it in the notes of my phone or I would’ve completely forgotten it.
Tell us about the last thing you got excited about….Picture it, Sicily…..
But for those who never watched the show Golden Girls, that joke goes over like a lead balloon.
For reference, the show was about three older ladies, there was also an OLD OLD lady, and whenever she began a story to tell the younger old ladies, it began with “Picture it, Sicily, 1924…” or some way old date like that.
Beyond picture it, Sicily, I’m not sure what to say. I’ve said before I’m not an excitable person. You’ll not catch me jumping up and down ever. Wayyyy laid back.
I was happy and maybe somewhat excited to get on WordPress this morning and see a new post from a blogger whom I follow, who hasn’t written anything new in a while. And of course he killed it.
I’m kind of excited to have Subway for supper tonight. I have a “Friday nights I don’t cook” rule. To be honest, I don’t cook many of the other nights as well but for sure not on Fridays. I’m jonesin’ for a turkey bacon sub with 6 cups of mayo on top.
I’m proud of myself, but not excited, that I dodged the mud in the parking lot at work this morning and so far have kept my white Converse shoes white. Could not say this the other morning when I walked right through the mud like the bull in a china shop I am, in a different pair of white sneakers.
