Daily writing prompt
How often do you say “no” to things that would interfere with your goals?
In the past, any prompts that included the word “goal”, I replied by saying that I don’t set goals, ever. That is true but for the sake of playing along, I’ll replace goals with “things I want to get done”.
I usually don’t say no to temporary roadblocks as long as I know that eventually I’ll get the thing done. I’m pretty laid back and tolerant of bumps in the road.
At home with a nasty head cold today but I’m thankful to have it now and not next week when we’re on holidays.
I kept Sid home from daycare today too because, well, I like being with him even when I’m sick, it’s a bit of a distraction plus I’m too lazy to take him to daycare.
So it’s me, my Kleenex, Advil, Tylenol and Sid all day.
