Which aspects do you think makes a person unique?
I would say most obviously it’s their personality traits.
What makes them laugh.
What makes them tick.
What they will or will not stand for.
What they laugh at.
Then there’s all the physical differences too which is a whole other ball of yarn.
I’m pretty beat tonight as I sit in the living room of the cottage we rented at Sooke Point Resort. It’s a bit chilly this evening but I’ve got the patio door open a crack so that I can listen to the ocean waves.
I could get used to this ocean thing. I’ve only been a handful of times before.
Things are nice and quiet, Sid’s asleep and the three older kids took the car to go look around. Taz said Mom I feel bad that we’re ditching you and going out. Ughh if he only knew…
Not sure how tactful I was in reassuring him that some alone time and peace ‘n quiet was actually all I really wanted this evening.
The day was long, starting at five am. Three flights, three provinces and two time zones later here we are. My suitcase didn’t make it. Screw you AND your ridiculously small seats Westjet.
They swear they’ll hand deliver my suitcase tomorrow so we’ll see. Had to go out and buy a bunch of toiletries and pj’s to replace just the basics of what they lost.
This place is amazing and you could rip my toenails off right now and I’d still be in a good mood. I felt better than Pretty Woman having a bath tonight in the ocean view, big beautiful tub.
Taz and I had a coffee tonight and he and Bella-Lena and I sat and watched the sunset over the ocean…
Ahhhh. Gonna sleep like a baby tonight.
