Election days are so exciting!! I mean, in Canada only.

I get really into it, watching the results come in and how the numbers change throughout the day.

I had kind of given up on watching the news, especially anything to do with politics but since our election this past week, I have a renewed interest in it all. It sparked that flame inside of me.

Which is a good thing as I am going to see my parents next weekend and my Dad loves to talk politics. Our views are a bit different but at least I’ll be armed with some knowledge of what’s going on.

The King of England is coming to Canada to give the Throne Speech when Parliament resumes later this month and he is bringing Queen Camilla which I am personally thrilled about. I love her.

I think it was a really good idea, to bring them here, well invite them I should say, as it gives Canadians something to get excited about. People will be travelling and spending money and those are good things.
