What personal belongings do you hold most dear?

Oooof…it’s been a busy Friday, almost didn’t get around to putting pen to paper, well, nails to keyboard.

Hey summer’s almost here! The leaves are finally starting to come out on the trees, I can see just a hue of green in them. Only bummer is these awful caterpillars are back. I’ve been noticing their big black cocoons wrapped around the branches of various trees.

According to my google research, they’re either tent caterpillars or spongy moth caterpillars. They come around every 7-10 years and destroy the leaves on the trees. They leave the trees bare branched and pitiful looking. Also, the caterpillars themselves literally hang from the branches and land on you if you’re walking around said trees.

As for the prompt, I’d say my photo albums are my most prized possession. I started buying disposable cameras with baby-sitting money from about age 11. There was nothing was more exciting than the anticipation of picking up that envelope of photos once they were processed. It took a couple of weeks!

Needless to say, my collection of photos and photo albums is really quite large. I think my kids will appreciate having them when I’m dead and gone.
