Can we just take a moment to appreciate how funny the show Everybody Loves Raymond was? When it originally aired I did not watch one single episode and for some reason I remember being completely turned off and annoyed by it. As soon as it came on, I changed the channel.

In the past year though, I started watching the reruns on CMT and it’s so satisfyingly hilarious. Each character is funny in their own way, individually funny yet the show wouldn’t be the same if one of them was missing.

Sometimes my least favourite part of it is Raymond’s wife. She can be so naggy to Raymond and almost mean.

But other than that, it’s smart and witty.

Also, wanted to point out that we’re nearing the summer solstice. We have had zilch summer weather thus far and no chances to be outside in the evening enjoying it, however. It’s raining almost everyday and very cool. Furnace still on in the house. But it’s 10:45 local time and still not dark outside. I love this time of year. The days are so long.

According to the forecast, summer is going to come tomorrow so I will finally buy and possibly plant some flowers and maybe some veggies. Can’t wait to get my hands dirty.
