If we’re talking luxury luxury, not sure I’ve ever known that. Luxury to me, off the top of my head means fancy cars, fancy houses and the best of everything. The population in general, has mostly never known that. However, the little things in a “regular” person’s life can be construed as luxury.
Having clean water to drink and bathe in is a luxury. Having a comfy bed to sleep in is a luxury. Having a job with an income that supports me and my family is a luxury. And right now, my health is a luxury.
Interestingly enough, this post by @jadebonacolta showed up on my Instagram feed this morning.
“6 luxuries in life: time, health, a quiet mind, slow mornings, ability to travel, a house full of love”
The caption read “if you have even half of these you’re rich….”
It’s so true.
Of all the things I’m grateful for in my day to day life, if we’re talking luxuries then I would say my nightly bubble bath is something I would be sad to have to give up. I’ve posted about it before and it sounds lame but it’s true. I consider that soak every night to be luxurious.
