Today is already starting out atypical and I’ll tell you why.
Once I hit “publish” on this post, I will get a notification from WordPress that I’ve hit my 100 day streak writing!!! Yay me! It feels good, not the notification itself or acknowledgement but writing every day gives me daily satisfaction. It’s like getting something off your chest each and every day.
Something else atypical is that I actually did get up early today, for a change. My daughter is having a lap choley (removal of gallbladder laparoscopically) this morning and so I have to drop her at the hospital shortly.
Lastly, what was odd this morning was my toast. It was white bread, not rye. Must be the first time in more than ten years I’ve not had rye bread to make toast with. Clint picked it up and he’s not a white bread fan either but I think he said there wasn’t any rye bread that day at the store. I said no biggie, maybe the change will be nice. It’s not. I miss my rye bread.
