        Lol no absolutely not, we are Canadians, completely separate….different government, different policies, different healthcare. We have a Prime Minister not a President.

        What I had in mind is that, despite not being part of the U.S., you inhabit the American continent 🙂
        That’s an umbrella term, just like Europeans, Asians, Africans, or Australians. Not a state, but a continent.
        I actually wanted to make a joke about it 😀

        I’m really terribly socially awkward and also neurodivergent. My brain has different connections compared to the majority of people, which results in these kinds of weird situations.
