Me & Mona Lisa

Daily writing prompt
What part of your routine do you always try to skip if you can?

I’ve been sort of routine-less as of late. It has everything to do with a certain three year old who wakes up at varying times of the morning, although usually it’s quite early.

I try not to fret because I know it won’t be like this forever. I’ll snap my fingers and he’ll be nearly six feet tall and impossible to drag from his bed in time for school.

The part of my routine that really doesn’t hurt my feelings to miss is of course exercise. It’s difficult and I don’t like doing hard things. I’ll eventually get back into it but it’s been over a week since I’ve even done yoga.

I won’t miss coffee and it would be hard to miss writing each morning. Getting dressed, doing my hair and putting on my face is kind of a necessity.

So WordPress was really onto me today, the part I try to miss of my routine is exercise. It’s no problem.

Absolutely, you look fantastic with the hair dye! 🌟 Embracing a bit of glam can be such a confidence booster. As for the exercise routine, it’s totally understandable to feel that way, especially with a busy schedule. Maybe start with small, manageable steps like a quick 10-minute yoga session or a brisk walk. Sometimes, just getting started can make a big difference. Keep shining! ✨
