It’s not that I care about the kind of impression I give people, I feel like I honestly don’t care. I ‘spose walking into a job interview or that type of situation would have me more concerned with first impressions.
At the same time, there is one impression I don’t want to leave with people.
I would hate for anyone to think I’m snobby. My Dad always taught my sisters and I to be friendly to people, give a wave, hold the door behind you, say hi.
He always said, (and probably still says) how much he appreciates when people are friendly and even chatty. I’m talking about perfect strangers or people he’s just met.
He really admires that in people and so I’ve always tried to be friendly.
Sometimes being friendly has landed me in trouble but that’s a story for another time.
I don’t really care about coming across as confident or anything like that, maybe that’s because I have so much confidence, (or so I’ve been told).
Just don’t paint me a snob.
Oh and this happened a few days ago…pretty cool.
