I wish I had more to say to this prompt but I haven’t really known a man who positively impacted my life all that much, besides my Dad. He was/is a great father, taught us so many things growing up on the farm. Gave us so much responsibility at an early age and that really helped develop my self esteem and confidence. He always said girls can do anything boys can do. And we did. Better.
Other men in my life were very good to me but I didn’t get too close with them.
Both of my grandfathers were great men. The best of men. Honest, hard working, loyal. All the things you want a man to be. Okay well maybe “some” of the things you want a man to be. Not all.
My ex-husband positively impacted my life by negatively impacting my life. I wouldn’t be where I am today if he hadn’t been such an asshole.
I don’t mention Clint all that much, I’m not sure why, I just don’t feel compelled to write about him but I’m happy he’s in my life. I really do like a lot of things about him.
For some reason I always feel the need to state my disclaimer that I don’t NEED a man for anything, I’m not sure why. I’m just so not “sit still, look pretty”. But he is nice to have around.
