Stroke my ego please

Daily writing prompt
If you had a freeway billboard, what would it say?

Am I super lazy because I’m blogging at the end of a long ass day instead of first thing in the morning, like I usually do, or do I just not have much to say to this prompt?

I actually think it’s kind of cool, the prompt, yet it’s not spurring much in my brain.

My billboard would either simply read “bloom where you’re planted” or it would be a photo of my WP logo with the name “bloom.planted.north”.

Lame right?

If I WAS the billboard, it would need to say “WARNING, approach with caution”.

  1. Professional Coffee Drinker – sounds like a winner to me!

Mine might say, “A good friend and a good listener.”

  3. Most of us don’t have the luxury to move – blooming where we’re planted is sometimes all we have, and certainly encouragement to press on. Thank you for sharing!

    1. Precisely…let’s just hope we’re planted somewhere that feels good 😌

  4. I love the WP logo! I also love the phrase “bloom where you’re planted”. That’s so good. Bloom wherever you are, even if it’s a temporary setting or not the most ideal of places. It’s better than feeling stuck. I’m going to remember that phrase for sure.

  5. Ha! Approach with caution. The bloom may have thorns.
