I go through phases with books it seems. Autobiographies were my jam for a long time but that was years ago, like in my 20’s. I mainly read the biographies of movie stars, Rock Hudson and the like, which is weird because I have no interest in anyone famous because of movies now.

Stephanie recently mentioned Demi Moore’s biography and though I’d be reluctant, I might check it out. I say reluctant only because I veer far, far away from anything celebrity related.
Also, Veselin talked of a book called Prisoner of Tehran and it looked interesting to me.
I’ve said it before but I have the worst luck finding good books. Will there ever be another ‘A Thousand Splendid Suns’ or another ‘Educated’ in my life?
It’s funny because I Googled ‘A Thousand Splendid Suns’ to ensure I got the title right, (I always seem to say “setting” not “splendid”) and I saw someone on Reddit comment that A Thousand Splendid Suns ruined reading for them and I felt that way too after I’d finished it.
That feeling when you’ve had something SO GOOD that nothing else compares.
Oh that’s a good segue to my next brief topic which is the wedding Anniversary of my older sister and brother in law today, twenty-nine years. Unreal. Time goes so fast. I went with them on their first date, at my Dad’s insistence. Don’t ask lol.
