I love making homemade pizza and actually had it for supper last night. I don’t know if I would say it’s my absolute favourite thing on earth to cook, but I do enjoy it.
I make personal pizzas for each person.
For Clint it’s a pepp/bacon/pineapple and lots of sauce kind of pizza. The girls are more picky and so for theirs it’s half bacon/half pepperoni. Sid will pick at either.
Mine is completely different. Maybe that’s why I like making pizza, because I get to satisfy myself. Which is rare. Mine is olives, artichoke hearts, onions, tomatoes, feta, spinach and then balsamic glaze drizzled over top.
It’s the most amazing flavours. They do a dance on my tongue.
And then if it’s not pizza, I love making the big turkey (or roast chicken) dinner with all the sides and salads and dessert. It’s very fulfilling to see it all come together and watch everyone enjoy it.
