Well if the news is something amazing like DT dropped dead I’d call my Dad, he’d be ecstatic too. I know some other Canadians have blogged about this but when he talks of how much better we’d be off as the fifty-first state my blood just boils! He’s such an idiotic ignoramous (stealing this word from my Dad). It blows my mind. Blows my mind.

If the news is something to do with my job or kids, first I’d snap the kids on Snapchat in our group chat. Then I’d text my friends Ang and Rhoda. Then Clint.
If it was something to do with winning oodles of money, I’d stop what I was doing and first let it soak in and then try and remember my life exactly the way it is now, who I am right now, so that I don’t change much of anything. Including me.
I’m not an excitable, jump up ‘n down kind of person so my reactions to things, especially happy things, are very watered down. Then again I’ve never won the lottery so how would I know. I also don’t buy lotto tickets so there’s that.
