It’s funny how we all have different answers to this and I love how some people really took a stand and said they’d dissolve words like “can’t” from being used.
Some words are overused most definitely. I’m probably guilty of it too. Someone said “like”, guilty as charged. Someone else said “literally”, guilty as charged.
I grew up in the 80’s, how do I erase “like” from my sentences, it’s ingrained.
I’m sure I have a long list of words that annoy me but the top of mind is when people refer to their small kids as “littles”. UGGHHH.
I’m not sure why it bugs me. They’re just not littles. Littles are not a thing. They’re kids.
I’m literally a very literal person (lol just jokes), but seriously I think that’s why I don’t appreciate using littles to describe kids. They aren’t littles, they are kids. It makes no sense to me.
There’s nothing cute about it.
