For anyone who doesn’t know, my favourite quote is where I got my blog name from. Bloom where you’re planted.
I took on and clung to this saying years ago when I realized I was probably stuck living up north for forever, and there was nothing to do but make the best of it.
But on mornings like today, when May arrives like it did, it’s takes a lot of grit to keep on blooming.
snow in april/may. i won’t miss it but I suppose 2-3 years of experiencing it makes you appreciate both living in that condition and seeing demarcations of each season where I am.
it is beautiful though CJ, but I can understand how it makes everything that much harder. btw – love that saying. that’s going to stay with me. Mike

LOL. I would have been crazy mad if I woke up and saw all that snow.
In Minnesota, it’s a common thing all the way through the middle of May sometimes, but thankfully – I think – (and I say this very quietly, so Mother Nature doesn’t hear) ha – that we’re finally in Spring. I hope!!!! 😂
