I need to turn my Monday morning mood around. Look for the positives.
I’m happy that the snow is pretty much gone. Although it’s super dry and neither the trees nor the grass have turned green yet. We’re supposed to get moisture in the form of SNOW on Friday, great. The high for Friday is only plus one.
I’m still mulling over the weekend, which the kids and I spent at my older sister’s.
All in all it was a good weekend. My sisters and I are very different people. It’s weird how you can grow up in the same little house with the same parents but come out completely different. Because my sisters are more alike, I do feel like the odd man out.
I don’t share their political views, their parenting methods or even their taste in music. I know it’s all good. It’s okay. We don’t have to. I’m not wishing I was more like them. Not at all.
I just don’t understand how I got to be so far from them.
Oh, and this is good news, I hit 501 subscribers yesterday! Yay me!!
