What are you most worried about for the future?

I get why people are worried on a global level with the current state of things. World peace and the economy are jagged edges right now and even countries who are first cousins are sparring.

It is a big deal, I think I get it. But at the same time, it’s not a worry to me. For the most part, my little life will go on. With any luck.

I worry about things like how quickly I will be able to save up for our next vacation so that I am showing Sid more than just Manitoba.

I worry about my health, that it might not hold up and I’ll end up debilitated in some manner. And of course I worry about my kids, always second guessing if I did a good enough job as a parent.

I truly want them to be happy and satisfied. Fulfilled and passionate.

It’s an absolutely perfect Canada Day. Sun’s out, not a cloud in sight. Nice breeze. Not too hot, not too cold. We’re going to bbq later, hopefully do some relaxing before then, get lots of sunshine and fresh air.

Not that it matters but if I had stayed married, today would have been our 25th anniversary. I only point it out because it seems crazy to me that I would have been married that long. I feel like I’m 25 years old so how could it be possible that I’d have been married that long?!
