Keep in mind

Daily writing prompt
What’s something you believe everyone should know.

To err is human, so don’t be judgey.

We are all just doing our best.

It’s our first time living, this is not a practice run.

Time is short.

You only live once.

Ponder your own mortality ’cause it’s real and it’s gonna happen.

Sometimes it is appropriate to live like you are dying.

Wow the cameras on the new iphones really show every little thing.

  1. looking great CJ. you got the newest iPhone? how do you like it? i’m still on my iPhone 12. don’t want to give it up but it’s getting pretty old.

and i love the line about everyone’s first time living – I really keep this close to my heart so as not to be extremely judgmental. Mike

    1. Yeah that’s what I had, a 12, but certain apps weren’t working properly and I was worried about it crapping out on me and losing my 17 000 photos lol…so I got an iPhone Air, I think it’s a 17, not even completely sure and don’t really care lol but I do really love it!

      2. Yep it’s pretty thin n pretty cool!! I usually go with cheap cases but decided on an Otter Box this time so that bulks it up a tiny bit but it’s still really sleek!

  2. I suspect there is years of experience as a nurse in those comments, having to see people come and go before they expect it. Thanks for sharing 🙂

    2. Yeah just imagine trotting through life thinking we’re all going to live to be 100 years old. The unit I’m teaching my students right now is Gerontology and one of my very young students was shocked that the average lifespan is around 78-82, she said she thought everyone lived to 100 lol 😂 🙄

      1. yes, but even then, I wonder what the expected length of a ‘good life’ outcome is. In other words, don’t have dementia (mainly), which seems to affect a LOT of people.

  4. “Ponder your own mortality ’cause it’s real and it’s gonna happen.” So true! I’m finally realizing this, even though both my parents are still alive and well. My husband & I may not get the gift of longevity. We need to do what we want NOW. Great post!
