If you change over time and your cells change over time, what makes you still the same you? (Thanks Rojie for the prompt ideas!)
So yeah, many things have changed about me both inside and outside. Some for better, some for worse.
But I’m still me for lots of different reasons I guess.
I’m still the middle daughter (of three girls). Still the one who can side with either my older sister when she disagrees with something our younger sister does and still the one who can vouch for the opinions the younger sister has on the older sister. I’m always in the middle.
I knew I was going to love being a mom before I became a mom. That still stands. It’s my favourite job on earth. It fills me up.
I’m still the best driver on the road, that’s not changed in thirty-five years.
And I still love chicken.
