Do aliens exist? Please discuss. (Thanks Rojie)
In my humble opinion, aliens do not exist. I’m simply way too practical to believe in such things.
I don’t believe in aliens or ghosts or spirits and I barely believe that dreams are anything but hogwash.
Maybe that makes me something worse than just practical, like I don’t know, really boring?
I can agree with you just about 100 percent! People seem to need belief in something come to rescue them, like Jesus or aliens and whatever else. But the odds of this bearing fruit are practically zero. Thanks for posting this today and for having the courage to say it. A lot of bloggers won’t get it.

At a minimum, I’m sure there are microorganisms out there. Scientists are probing Mars, for example, because there’s a possibility it contains water and other elements that could support life, probably plants. Interestingly enough, there’s a movie called Project Hail Mary in which scientists try to stop microbes that are destroying Earth and another planet. It’s all fictional, of course, but researchers are focusing on microorganisms and really looking at Mars. I don’t think there are aliens traveling around the universe in spaceships like in the movies, we have technology powerful enough that we likely would have detected that by now. But who knows, maybe there are aliens out there. Still, I believe we are definitely not alone in the universe.

This stuff fascinates me. As Edward says, I think it’s there, but perhaps it’s so utterly foreign we don’t recognize it. There are creatures living in the depths of ocean trenches as happy as can be… with complete blackness, crushing pressure, icy cold, living by volcanic shafts that ooze lava and toxic volcanic gases.
How much worse could Venus or Jupiter be? 😎🤷♂️

I am a similarly skeptical person, but I don’t know if it’s necessarily reasonable to claim there are no aliens in the infinite universe. While we may never have concrete evidence of their existence due to the incomprehensible large distance between planets, I think it’s equally unreasonable to claim with certainty that aliens don’t exist. It’s a boring answer, but I think we’ll probably never know for sure one way or the other.
