What’s your alter ego’s name and why? (Thanks for the prompt Rojie!)

I think ‘CJ’ would actually be my alter ego’s name. The reason is because everywhere in my life EXCEPT here on WP, I’m known as ‘Carla’. The lamest name to exist.

I chose CJ because, well, not only is it my initials (first and middle name), it’s the handle I requested my parents and sisters start calling me when I was about eleven years old. I simply thought it sounded way more cool than Carla.

CJ would be the human inside of me, but without any “MOM!” attachments. She’d be the one who said YOLO and lives a bit more selfishly. She’d definitely have more fun, I mean how could you not with so many less expectations and responsibities.

I’d never want to live a life not as myself and without these kids of course but the very odd time I feel like I get a bit swallowed up in it and even they forget that besides being their Mom, I’m also a human. A female human. A woman.
