Good reads/bad day

I’m trying hard to reframe my bad mood this morning but the facts are that I finally caught the cold that the rest of my household had last week but there’s no time for me to be sick because Sid got a stomach bug yesterday and was throwing up all day and night so I barely got a wink of sleep and on top of that I have period cramps. My mind is foggy, my body hurts and outside there is even more snow and no spring-like weather until Thursday!

So I go on Pinterest and search up positive quotes/gratitude hoping I can turn this mood around but it’s not coming quickly.

Sid just said his “brain is hot”, oh my poor baby. I should try to give him Tylenol however both times I tried yesterday it was immediately vomited up.

If anyone is still reading and on the Goodreads app can you please drop your Goodreads name or email in the comments so I can follow you? I’m still figuring the app out but I’m assuming you follow people and get ideas about what to read next from it. I believe my name on it is my email: antichowcarla@gmail.com

Is the snow getting sickening? YESSSSS, ughhh
Sometimes I love Instagram for posts like this, thank you…

  1. I’m so sorry you’re not feeling good. Pobrecita! And try not to put too much pressure on yourself today or any time. Whose yardstick is it anyway? Who says? Drink lots of fluids and sometimes vitamin D can help. I’m thinking of you.

  7. It’s helpful when the kids can communicate their suffering as Sid did. I’m sorry you’re sick, CJ. Be sure to try and get your rest while caring for the rest of the family.

  10. oh poor you, you don’t always have to be in a good mood, especially when your sick. Take a note out of the guys playbook, let yourself be sick and miserable, ask someone to help with Sid and all the other stuff.

    1. Thanks Rob for that, especially the “you don’t always have to be in a good mood” part, really appreciated that ☺️
