What’s the last book you couldn’t put down?
I love it when I find a book I can’t put down. Where I just disappear inside of it and the time just goes zinging past.
It feels like you crawl through a doorway from your reality and enter theirs. And after a couple of hours away from the book, you miss what’s going on in it and can’t wait to get back into it.
The last time this happened was just a couple of weeks ago when I read The Correspondent, thanks to my oh so intelligent blogging friend Edward Ortiz. The main character felt so real to me. I loved her.
Onto other things, it’s Mother’s Day today as most of us know.
My favourite day of the year. I had flowers delivered to my Mom and Clint’s Mom (they live more than 600 kilometres away from here).
My day will be spent relaxing, mostly in bed. Breakfast in bed, coffee in bed, hanging out with my four kids and Baby RR and looking at old photo albums.
Hashtag blessed.
