If you had to pick a movie title for 2026 so far, what would it be?

These are two polar opposites but it would either be “The Good, The Bad And The Ugly” or “Life Is Beautiful”.

I actually haven’t seen The Good, The Bad…but Life Is Beautiful is one of my favourite all-time movies.

Not that my life this year, or any other year, parallels having to survive a concentration camp, it’s the title itself I’m alluding to.

Life is beautiful. Unfortunately it involves good people, bad people and ugly people.

    I’ve never seen Life is Beautiful and I just put it on hold at the library. I hope you’re right about life being beautiful because sometimes it doesn’t feel like it.

      Life isn’t always beautiful, that’s for sure. But there are moments. You just have to notice them. ☺️

    I heard someone saying on TV (George Conway—a candidate for Congress) saying that Trump has ushered in an era that has given permission for people to be ugly to each other. In fact, it’s encouraged. Sadly, it rang true.

    Project Hail Mary, but it’s going to lose its place once I watch the new Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu that comes out this Friday. I can’t wait! I guess the bad and the ugly were cropped out of the picture. 😂
