Me & Rock Hudson

What’s your favorite way to be flirted with?

Of course I NEVER engage in flirtatious behaviour as I’m in an unofficial ’til death do us part relationship’, but if I did, the way to my heart is humour.

You can have three eyeballs, six arms and smell like cooked broccoli but if you’re funny, then all I see is someone gorgeous like Rock Hudson, (yes I know he was gay but he was also to die for handsome).

Little compliments send me, as does a gaze into my eyes that lingers a few seconds too long.

This was my last day in the classroom until next September…my students are out on Clinical beginning today and for the next 6 weeks, then I’m off for the summer

It’s going to be 8 degrees today which is kind of cool (46 F) but at least snow is melting and it’s warming up by the end of the week we’ll be in the high teens!
      Thanks Mary ☺️

  2. Pillow talk with Rock Hudson was such a great movie. if you ever want to see a brilliant retromod film of that time watch Ewen MacGregor and Renee Zellweger in Down With Love. it’s something you can watch with the girls and I think you guys would like the humor.

As for flirting, the world is lucky that you’re in a relationship. It’d be tough sledding for the guy that caught your eye 🙂💯 Mike

    1. Idk that i’ve ever seen a movie with Rock Hudson in it but I did read his autobiography years ago. Will have to check out Down with Love although it’s hard for me to believe Renee Zellweger is anyone but Bridget Jones lol
Lol yeah the flirting thing, i meant to put a winking face emoji after i said i NEVER flirt because as if, i think everyone does in their own ways in certain situations right? Right??
And thx for the compliment Mike ☺️

    1. Clinical is when i take the students to the hospital and long-term care facilities so they get to finally use the skills I’ve taught them and “work” as Healthcare Aides. I am with them starting next week for 3 weeks, the last 2 weeks they’re on their own and then summer OFF!! 🤩

      1. There’s a pretty big healthcare assistant shortage here in Minnesota, along with nurses. It’s not a easy job in more ways than one and the people who go into that field need to make more money. It’s odd how we don’t mind paying actors and athletes hundreds of millions of dollars, but the people we go to to care for us have to struggle.
