What color(s) matches your mood today? And why?
I’m finding it hard to focus this morning on what I want to write because Sid is home due to a school in-service, also Cordelia and Baby RR are here at the moment, getting ready for work/daycare, so there are way more distractions than usual.
The skies are gray, it’s been raining nonstop for two days. Pretty cold as well, only a few degrees above freezing. Hopefully we don’t see snowflakes at this rate.
I’d like to say the colours that describe my mood are bright pink/yellow/blue/purple but honestly that’s not so.
Actually if you put those colours on a piece of paper and smeared them all around with your hands, that might be the correct description.
Busy, messy.
One thing that comforts me, (besides all the wonderful blessings I currently have in my life and should be more grateful for), is Billy Joel. I’ve had Vienna on repeat in the car all week.
Satisfaction is something I struggle with. Never feeling satisfied. Billy Joel says “only fools are satisfied”, so that makes me feel better.
