Create a map of your inner world.
I think part of the problem is there is no map, or the map would be hard to follow. I know it’s time to meditate when my mind jumps around and can’t focus, like a dog when you yell squirrel!
Currently in my brain:
-houses are so cheap and so beautiful in Scandinavia, but I’d probably never move there, but it’s tempting
-I need to track down my golf clubs so I can go golfing Saturday with a friend and her bf but I think they might be in my ex-husband’s garage and Taz said “just text Dad and ask him, even if yours aren’t there, I’m sure he’s got extra he can borrow you”…and for some reason I don’t want to text him and ask
-repeat mammogram and ultrasound of boob are out of the way, now wait (patiently) for results
-I feel like I can’t book a vacation until I know results
-I don’t know if we should go east or west on a vacation, part of me wants to see Montreal (east) but part of me just wants to go where things are comfy and familiar (west), also to see Aunty Janice
-Sid and I have plans to go to the beach today…do I actually go and buy a bathing suit? Or just wear a pair of shorts and sort of wade in to my thighs? I haven’t owned a bathing suit in at least 15 years and not sure I want to see what it will look like.
-oh my god, The Knick, is anyone else watching this right now? I’m watching it on Crave, but is Crave only a Canadian streaming app? Anyway I’d take The Knick over The Pitt or Grey’s Anatomy any old day. It’s fascinating. Suction during surgery used to require a hand crank?? Unreal. There are so many facets to the storylines and characters too. It’s got it all: bad boy/good girl romance, corruption, drug addiction, hookers, families, expectations
-am I going to run for city council? I still don’t know, it lives in my brain day and night.
Going to stop here and do some deep breathing.
