Cooking (for a) nightmare

If you had a personal chef, what would you make him/her create for you?

They would not get off lightly, let’s just say that.

I don’t want no personal-chef-made-BLT sandwich (bacon/lettuce/tomato) for supper.

They better not be trying to serve me scrambled eggs for lunch, (that’s what I make for Sid and I nearly everyday).

None of the easy-peasy stuff I make when I’m feeling lazy and so sick of cooking. No breakfast for supper, I want that breakfast for breakfast!

Lunchtime I might go easier on them, it can be something light, but still complicated that takes two hours to prepare. And it better be healthy. Some kind of gourmet egg salad sandwich with avocado mixed in it on freshly baked bread. A side salad, some cottage cheese and a few potato chips on the side.

The suppertime meals need to be five star. I don’t always want meat so they better have some vegetarian options up their sleeve. And they need to cook with the weather. Hot summer days pair better with summertime, grilled meals. Cooler weather and rainy days calls for heartier options.

I hope they’re okay with me tasting things and putting in my two cents. More salt, add a pinch of sugar to that, etc.

I make granola at least once a week so they can gladly take that over. It’s become such a ball and chain for me.

Ooh I’d be a nightmare to cook for. It’s probably a good thing that it will never happen.

Bought this at the gas station on the way to the beach the other day, 10/10 don’t recommend. I love Perrier but this lemon flavour tasted like Pledge dusting spray smells, yuck
Yesterday Sid asked me to make cinnamon buns, it was raining outside so I thought why not, my Mom’s recipe…they take hours to make but they are the reason I won’t eat cinnamon buns anywhere else, sooo good, I was happy & relieved mine turned out

  2. If I had a personal chef, I’d be vegetarian. Since I don’t and am not interested in food preparation, especially if it requires any extra time or energy, I eat whatever’s quickest and easiest to make. But give me a chef and it’s vegetarian all the way. Vegan, even.

      1. Yes! Name the amount. Oh wait, they’ll probably add a tariff at the border, so I better just enjoy the picture for now. πŸ˜žπŸ˜†
