What have you learned from someone you don’t like?
I can’t think of anything specifically but when someone I don’t like comes up with a good idea I’m like ughhh, that’s annoying.
On the flip side, those we don’t like show us exactly how NOT to act. Sometimes it’s easier to learn how not to be or do something than it is to learn how to do it or be like it.
Sid and I got home yesterday around suppertime from our quick little trip to the Swan Valley to see my parents, sisters, their families and my Aunt and Uncle. Was actually able to see some cousins as well and their kids.
My younger sister Gena was up at the lake with her husband and invited us to come Saturday for supper. I say “up at the lake” because they camp at a place called Steeprock Lake in the Porcupine Mountains. They’re very teensy little mountains, more like an escarpment really.
Anyway it was probably the highlight of the weekend. Sid swam a couple of times in the lake. We had bbq’d steak tips, potato salad and raspberry pie for supper. My sister and brother in law bought E bikes so we went for a couple of rips on them. They are SO fun, I’d like to buy one but around here I’m not sure where I’d ride one.
Happy to be home. Sid starts swimming lessons today, at 5:15 each day til Friday. So that will keep us busy.
I kept Baby RR for a sleepover last night so Cordelia could have a break so I’m currently “Glamma-sitting”. He’s so cute I could eat him.
