      1. How do you deal with snow removal on your own property up there? Does Clint have a plow?

      2. Some people use a small plow mounted on their ATVs, Clint uses a snowblower to do our driveway and some of the backyard.

  1. I probably would have enjoyed that when I was a little younger, like ten or so, but now as I’m approaching my, uh, maturity, I couldn’t deal with it.

  5. We’re supposed to have another light snow year, due to Super El Nino. I hope not. But I can definitely understand this sentiment!

    1. I’ve been reading and reading what the El Nino means for us but they’re pretty ambiguous about the details 😏

      1. My understanding is that there will ‘probably’ be less snow and more rain where I am, but not sure what it means for you. We need snow here to stave off drought, rather than rain.

Generally it means droughts and floods, I think.

    1. Seems a bit early but i think it’s not necessarily snow that stays, just snow that falls!

An average first snowfall of September 22 is a genuinely startling number – that is a week away. Answering “what would improve your city” with “move winter back” is very fair when the calendar is that unreasonable. Your note in the comments that it is snow that falls rather than snow that stays is the only comforting part of this. Meanwhile the children would be thrilled, which is the usual split in our house too.
