What’s something on your “to do list” that never seems to get done?

There are just so many little things that never seen to get done on time or just plain get done. I always joke that I need a personal assistant but seriously, that would make my life so much easier.

Someone to order birthday gifts for the kids and grandkids. Someone to book dentist appointments. Someone to pay bills on time.

Yesterday, for example, I meant to order Clint’s older daughter a birthday gift (her bday was Sept 9) and also pay for the domain for The Sidney Project website but did I get either of those ticked off my to-do list? Nope.

Why does it seem so hard to find time for all those little details?

Between helping Cordelia look after Baby RR and cooking/baking all day, I didn’t get much else accomplished.

I made waffles, bacon, berries and whipped cream for brunch.

A double batch of granola to last us the week.

Grocery shopped for what I needed for supper and snacks for Sid for the week ahead.

Made a chocolate cake from scratch for Taz as a belated bday cake. Made chicken souvlaki, lemon roasted potatoes and a Greek pasta salad for supper.

Then there’s all the damn dishes.

Busssssy day.
