My weekend was so busy that I didn’t get here to write and barely kept up with reading posts, also didn’t get into my journal to write either, until this morning.
Halloween took up most of Saturday. I like to make Halloween themed food for supper on the 31st and started cooking around 1 pm so that we could eat well before trick or treaters would start arriving around 4 pm.
Sid was so excited for Halloween and had a great time out in the neighborhood with Clint. After he came in to warm up and devour some candy he went back out with Taz, but in the car this time, driving to friend’s houses that were a bit too far to walk.
Bella-Lena was also home on the weekend and brought her bff with her. The kids all went out both nights to different parties and Saturday night I glamma-sat Baby RR so had a crap sleep lol. He still wakes up frequently through the night (or at least for me he did) and also he’s teething so a bit more fussy than usual.
Bella-Lena and her friend left yesterday morning to return to Winnipeg and Taz was at his Dad’s most of the day so the house was quieter. I had an assignment due for the course I’m taking, I finally got some time to sit at the kitchen table and get that handed in. Also tackled laundry, did a workout, grocery shopped and made supper. Oh, and took down some of the Halloween decorations. Some. Will get to the rest this week.
The province where I live just recently made a decision to stop the time from occurring so we didn’t have to turn our clocks back on the weekend. For some reason my iPhone didn’t know this though and it did change the time Saturday night. I powered it down and turned it back on and then it was correct.
Today I have training all day at City Hall, which I’m very much looking forward to. So to the OOTD question, I’ll wear a dress of course, as I always do. Haven’t decided which one though, we actually only have a skiff of snow although temps are barely getting above freezing in the daytime, I might take advantage of that and wear my Sambas/socks with the dress.
Though I have worn pantyhose a couple of times already, I’ll go as long as I can NOT wearing them, and today will probably be one of those days.
