Pretty boring, nothing real “exotic” here. Some of these countries are the places my great-grandparents came from. Some are just because.
I really don’t like flying. I’m scared of dying in a plane crash, maybe even worse, living through a plane crash and being stranded somewhere and everyone gets so hungry they start eating each other.
I won’t let that stop me from travelling but it’s always in the back of my mind. To go to Europe, or any of these places I need money, and lots of it. And passports for myself and my kids. I let my passport expire when my husband and I separated as it was the bottom on my list of priorities. I need to get a new one, I realize this but I need one for my three year old as well, especially, and since he’s (on paper) in the foster care system, I can’t just apply for it myself. It would be his worker I suppose who would do that. I won’t go anywhere without him so until he gets a passport, I won’t bother either.
Anyway it will be a bit easier to travel with him when he gets a tiny bit older. Travel, as in long flights. Until then, we’ll continue touring Canada and that’s great for right now. We have a beautiful expansive country to see.
