Scrolling Instagram this morning I saw that quote “remember that some of the best times in your life haven’t happened yet”.
What’s the cut off age for this? I feel like it’s geared to young people who are maybe experiencing some of the stress that comes with high school or college/university or just all the peer pressure stress. It’s probably meant to cheer them up and have them look forward and keep on keepin’ on.
But would it apply to someone like me? I’m forty-seven, soon to be forty-eight. Have some of the best times in my life not happened yet? Or have they all happened? Geez it’s kind of depressing.
To the prompt, I don’t know what I would do all night long if not sleep. It’s weird to think our bodies could keep going without any rest. I know I’m the oddball out when I say that one bonus of not sleeping is not dreaming.
I’m not a fan of dreams and I purposely take Magnesium every night to try and dull them. It worked great at the start but it seems my body has gotten used to them and now one and half tablets still leaves me remembering the odd dream.
I think I’d just like to eat all night long if I wasn’t sleeping. Just an all night long feast, every night. And you don’t gain weight. Not from the all night long feast. Sounds like heaven.
