What are you curious about right now?
There used to be this tv show (yes, as in cable, like before Netflix and blah blah blah) called “How It’s Made” and it ran for 32 seasons.
The show took you inside of manufacturing plants that produced everything from aluminum foil to hearing aides to adhesive bandages. But that’s not the cool part.
I didn’t really care so much about the item being made, although yeah, it was kind of interesting. What mesmerized me and had my head spinning were the MACHINES they used to produce all of these things. Not the thing itself.
Okay so you can make fluorescent tubes, great, but who made the machine that makes the fluorescent tubes??
Oreo cookies?! NOT made in a bakery, you should see the contraptions used to make these! And it’s really really interesting, but again, who designed and then actually made these big machines that perform all of the steps it takes to make 5000 Oreos per hour? It blows my mind.
These apparatuses are usually large, are made of lots of steel and moving parts, and they just seem to know what to do. So who was the smarty pants that made them??
