Twenty-four hours in

The pros of camping: Sid absolutely loves it, it smells good, it’s quiet, I hardly go on my phone, food’s great

The cons: I have marshmallow in my hair, sleeping on a cot sucks, the bugs can be atrocious at times

As we left town yesterday, packed to the hilt
Off we go
Sid helping Dada put up the tent
Sid having a roasted marshmallow
Completed set-up this morning, well not me, Clint
Really cute beach here
Sid cheesin’

  2. Why does camping food always taste so good? Must be the outdoor air or something. Love the pics.

      1. Next time, you should go glamping. Maybe there are some spots in your area.

      5. Well, now they have sunscreen and insect repellent combos, which are probably better. Two for one.

  6. Sid eating a marshmallow made me kind of cringe He’s got melted marshmallow everywhere! LOL! Were the bathrooms at the campground clean and free of spiders?

    1. Omg the marshmallow Michael, it was everywhere! On the drive home yesterday I had my left leg up on the seat (you only need your right leg to drive) and when I went to straighten my leg and put it back down on the floor, my dress was stuck to the door because of marshmallow lol, I guess I had marshmallow on my dress and well, now it’s on my driver side door, ugghh.
The bathrooms were like a 5/10 I’d say. Not great but not completely terrible. I said to Clint that thankfully I’ve got such bad eyesight without my glasses on so when I went into the showers each evening, I could not see what was on the floor or the walls of the shower. Gross. Nobody would want to see that. I don’t mind spiders, I was only worried about mice!

      1. Mice in the shower… a new nightmare! I don’t mind spiders normally, but when you’re sitting down and, well, you know, and a spider is crawling toward you and you can’t do anything.

      2. Lol well hopefully the mice aren’t in the shower lol but they do roam around the bushes at campgrounds 😩
