What does your bedroom say about who you are?
My bedroom is a maximalist messy-mess. So I guess it describes me well.
I don’t make my bed, never have and never plan to.
Like my socks, my dishes and sometimes my earrings, the curtains on both of the windows in my bedroom do not match.
My bedroom is full of thrifted or flea marketed items because old stuff is way more interesting than new.
I make sure it’s also functional though. Comfy bedding, regular pillows plus huge oversized pillows to lean against, for when I’m sitting up to write like I am now.
Lamps installed over the headboard for reading in bed, (or writing). A tv on the wall for watching tv in bed. A chair in the corner for my pile of tried on and taken back off but not hung up clothes. A bedside table on each side of the bed for drinks, snacks, hair clips, earrings I need to remove when I have a nap, bobby pins, another lamp.
I love eating in bed and I don’t mind the crumbs or the mess, it’s all washable. If it were up to Clint he’d have a “no eating in bed” rule but life’s too short for that and nothing is ever up to Clint as far as I’m concerned.
