Indigenous women in Canada are six times more likely to be murdered than non-Indigenous women. The photo is from the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and 2SLGBTQI+ people (MMIWG) exhibit in Winnipeg.
Once I get settled into the driver’s seat for the nearly 8 hour drive through mostly nothing but trees to Winnipeg, my left foot finds itself tucked up under my right leg. Don’t worry, I still have my right foot/leg accessible for braking.
Clint’s daughter Sara dropped off her little girl Blake yesterday morning so we could watch her while she went to an appointment. We don’t see them too often as they don’t live here. She’s such a cutie and wanted to help Papa push Baby RR around the deck.
