What’s the hardest thing about getting older?
For me, it’s the phantom little aches and pains. This never used to happen in my twenties, thirties and even early forties.
For example, two weeks ago my right ankle was swollen and very tender. I’d done nothing to it, as far as I know. It was an ugly cankle though.
It’s really true but once you near fifty, you’ll just wake up with random problems that thankfully, a little ibuprofen or acetaminophen will fix.
I won’t even get into my hormones changing. That’s a whole other topic, a whole other blog really.
Okay so this whole Airbnb thing, so frustrating. Cordelia and Taz (and Baby RR) had checked in a day before me and were calling me as I was driving to the city to tell me about it. This ‘n that were broken etc etc. I was thinking they were just being whiny.
Nope. It is junky. I’ve stayed in this building probably half a dozen other times, it’s called The Glass House. Pretty much all of those experiences were positive.
But this guy is a slum lord. I’ve messaged him and told him he’ll be getting a bad review. I maybe should have waited until after we checkout tomorrow but I couldn’t help myself.
Shower curtain rod broken, shower head broken, coffee table leg broken, bedroom door broken. You can tell he does the absolute bare minimum here. Makes me so mad.
Should have stayed at a hotel. Live and learn.
