What’s a hobby you’re just learning?
I wish I had something fascinating to say in order to answer this prompt but I don’t. I guess being here on WP would count as a hobby.
My problem with other creative hobbies, for example, painting, is that I don’t know which colour to choose to fill up the page. It was the same with colouring as a kid, I never knew which colour of crayon to pick for each part of the page. And it would stress me out.
I dabbled in macrame and yarn wall hangings years ago and tried to make a little business of selling them but it didn’t stick. Although I really enjoyed it.
Our city has a rock snake and two weeks ago Bella-Lena, Sid and I decided to paint a rock each and add them to the snake. Of course I struggled with what to put on it while Bella-Lena went to work in her usual creative overload way, even Sid seemed to know which colours he wanted on his. I simply painted the words “bloom where you’re planted”, lame.
