Enough

How much money would you have to make (salary wise) before you’re happy/content?

I ‘spose I’m happy and content right now, the way things are. Then again, I’d love more money, who wouldn’t?

But each morning when I’m sipping on my coffee, just before I come here, I do my 4-7-8 breathing and try to think of at least 3 things I’m grateful for.

Usually it’s like this: a roof over our heads, food in the fridge and my health.

It’s Sid’s first day of school today, grade 1. I’m so excited for him and hope that it goes well. Also, I hope the rain that’s forecast stays away long enough to take the “first day of school” pics.

  2. Money can’t buy you love but it can buy you freedom of choice. I think most of us would love to have more money but at the same time most of us are happy as are 😊 and think as you do

  3. enough is a good answer.

funnily, we were talking in a group just last night about “happiness” and the meaning/purpose of one’s life…

    best to Sid.

  4. There was rain my first day of Kindergarten. Despite living 2 blocks from school, a bus driver insisted I get on the bus, and dropped me off in front of my house on the way home. My first day of school photo is me in a raincoat.

  7. You’re first sentence: that’s the correct answer! Did the rain allow you to take first day of school pictures? Do kids still wear lanyards around their necks with their bus number on it? I remember having to do that but I was such a worrier I memorized the number because I repeated it to myself all day so I wouldn’t get left at school. Bus #17. As for the rain, I hope it keeps up.

Hmmm i’ve never heard of the lanyard thing actually!
