What’s a photo that makes you sad or angry?

These photos I took at the National Human Rights Museum in Winnipeg back in July.
So yeah, that answers the prompt. In other news, it’s nearly 8 pm and I’m just now sitting down to write. I had such a busy day and evening last night that I ended up sleeping in this morning.
My students wrote a test yesterday morning and after lunch I met with the Seniors group here in Thompson for a cup of coffee and to hear any concerns or issues they currently have. Unofficial city council election stuff.
After supper, Sid had gymnastic from 7-8 pm and once it was over, I dropped him back at home and went to the firehall where I’d been invited (again because of the municipal election), by one of the fire captains to discuss their concerns. I also got a tour of the firehall and a lengthy explanation of all of their very valid concerns.
That took until about 9 pm and would have probably gone on longer if they hadn’t had to run out the door to respond to a fire in progress at someone’s home.
When I left the firehall, I came home to grab some things for Cordelia and Baby RR. Then picked up McDonald’s for Cordelia and headed to the hospital.
Baby RR has been fevered on and off all week so yesterday I said to Cordelia, okay, that’s enough of that, you need to get him checked out. She got an appointment at the clinic but they took one look at him and said go to the Emergency room at the hospital. She sat there with him from about 1:30 pm until he was finally seen and let go last night at 11:30 pm.
I sat there with them for the last 2.5 hours. He does have pneumonia, poor little guy and was put on oral antibiotics.
Because I’m so o-l-d and used to going to bed (and getting up) early, I felt hungover when I woke up this morning despite having had zilch alcohol. The late night was all it took.
Hopefully I get to bed at a decent time tonight and up early so I can get back to my routine. Oh, and it’s Thanksgiving weekend here. A long weekend. Looking forward to the big yummy turkey dinner and also visiting with family, my older daughter Bella-Lena is enroute right now, making the nearly 8 hour drive north.
